On Tuesday, Hansi Flick greeted his team with a video address for the first session after the short Christmas break. As Bayern are planning a lot in the new year, the 60-minute online training session was tough. The first part of the session consisted of stability exercises with fitness coach Peter Schlösser. Then Holger Broich (scientific director and head of fitness) got down to business on his bike.
High tension in the Bundesliga
Flick and his team only have five days until the ball starts rolling again in the Bundesliga. The defending champions will host Mainz on 3 January and the anticipation among the players and fans is huge. After all, the league is tight and the title race promises to be exciting. The Munich players will be working hard at home and at the Säbener Straße over the next few days, and the intensive sessions will form the basis for the coming weeks. True to Flick's motto: "Success is on lease - and the rent is due daily!"
