Great news concerning Thomas Müller and Serge Gnabry! Müller was able to train at Säbener Straße again on Thursday for the first time after a period self-isolating at home due to testing positive for COVID-19. Following final medical tests in the morning, the 31-year-old completed an individual session on the pitch alongside team training under the guidance of fitness boss Prof Dr Holger Broich.
Gnabry back with the team
Gnabry, meanwhile, has taken the next step towards his comeback. After several intensive rehabilitative sessions in the last few days, the 25-year-old trained with the team again for the first time since tearing a muscle in his left thigh. The forward suffered the injury in the FIFA Club World Cup final against Tigres UANL.
