The FC Bayern München eV club committee has decided to once again postpone the 2020 Annual General Meeting, originally scheduled for 15 April 2021, and to include all agenda items planned for this meeting on the agenda of the 2021 Annual General Meeting, which is scheduled to take place in the usual attendance format at the Audi Dome at the end of 2021.

"Due to the still incalculable pandemic situation this spring and the common wish to hold an attendance event, we have decided to combine both Annual General Meetings. We all hope that by the end of the year we will be able to hold a safe event, in which our members will be able to participate in person," said FC Bayern president Herbert Hainer, giving the reasoning behind the decision.

The club committee plans to use a variety of digital formats in the first half of the year in order to maintain a dialogue with the club's members despite the postponement. For example, there is to be information released in one format on the planned proposal to amend the Articles of Association, which is to be presented to the members for a decision at the Annual General Meeting at the end of the year.
