Reaction from the Bayern camp
Hansi Flick: "It was important that we won the game. Lazio defended well and closed down spaces. The goal we conceded leaves us with a slight bitter taste. The way we played football is how I imagine it. Now we hope that we get a good opponent and turn in two top performances. We are relaxed about the draw and happy to be in the quarter-finals. These are the best eight in Europe who'll play each other. We're happy to be there and to have crowned our performance in Rome with a win today, and we deserve to be in the quarter-finals."
Joshua Kimmich: "It was important that we won the game today. We played with aplomb, especially in the first half, we didn't give much away at all. At the end of the day, it was okay. It wasn't a brilliant performance, but with the first leg in our pocket, we did quite well."
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting: "Before the game, we had decided to give 100 percent. There have been many stories in football, also in the Champions League. Lazio aren't a bad team. We took it seriously. It was a tough game, but we deserved to win. We had a couple of very good chances in the second half. We want to win every game. It's great that I scored. I want to step on the gas and help when I come in. I felt I had space - great pass from David and a great finish."
Reaction from the Lazio camp:
Simone Inzaghi (Lazio head coach): "We put in a good performance and leave the competition with our heads held high. It was a very important game for us. After the first leg, we wanted to perform well and we did that. We made the spaces tight against a super strong opponent. It was a much improved performance from us."
