This honour is more than deserved! After setting a new record in the Bundesliga with 41 goals this season, Robert Lewandowski has been awarded the "Silver Shoe" as the best player of the season by his professional colleagues. In the traditional vote by the players' union VdV, the The Best FIFA Men's Player from FC Bayern received 75.9 percent of the votes cast, clearly beating Dortmund's Erling Haaland (7.1%) and teammate Thomas Müller (3.5%). After 2013, 2017, 2018 and 2020, the 32-year-old has now received the award five times.
