Running, sprinting, jumping and maintaining the effort! After the pre-season medical examinations on Monday, the FC Bayern professionals had to go through the mandatory performance diagnostics on Tuesday to kick off their preparations for the new campaign. It was the first meeting with new coach Julian Nagelsmann for the team.
From the first team squad, those present were Sven Ulreich, Ron-Thorben Hoffmann, Michaël Cuisance, Adrian Fein, Tanguy Nianzou, Chris Richards, Omar Richards, Marc Roca, Bouna Sarr, Dayot Upamecano and Joshua Zirkzee.

Supervised by Prof. Dr. Holger Broich (Scientific Director & Head of Fitness), the stars went through various stations. Among other things, their endurance ability was checked in a lactate test with a breathing mask on the treadmill. Exercises on the speed court tested the speed and reaction time of the players. There were also jumping and balance tests.
Wednesday sees the first official training session under Nagelsmann. As the international players will only return from their summer brek over the next few weeks, the squad will be supplemented by a few junior players.
