




Now it's set in stone: On Wednesday, the German Football League (DFL) released the dates and timings for Matchdays 1-6. After FCB open the season at Mönchengladbach on Friday 13 August (20:30 CEST), the defending champions will wrap up Matchday 2 on Sunday 22 August (17:30 CEST) with a home game against 1. FC Köln.
That's followed by a Saturday evening clash at the Allianz Arena against Hertha BSC (28 August, 18:30 CEST). Following the international break, it's back to a Saturday evening (11 September, 18:30 CEST) for the matchday's standout fixture at Leipzig. The record champions then welcome VfL Bochum on a Saturday afternoon (18 September, 15:30 CEST). And the Reds will open Matchday 6 with a Friday evening away game at SpVgg Greuther Fürth (24 September, 20:30 CEST).
