FC Bayern will be without Benjamin Pavard for several weeks after the 25-year-old defender suffered a ligament injury in his left ankle. “It’s very, very frustrating. He’d made a good impression and was definitely part of the plans. He has good versatility. Now he’ll be out for a few weeks, but we’ve got a lot of other players who can replace him,” head coach Julian Nagelsmann said on Thursday at his press conference before the opening Bundesliga game at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
