Goretzka: We just love playing football

Julian Nagelsmann: "I'm happy with the result, but also with the way we played. In the first ten minutes we still had to get through a few problems. After that, we managed very well. With the ball we had good structure. We often shifted the ball well and created many chances. In the second half, one aim was not to concede, to show the avarice required to keep a clean sheet. Overall it was a very good performance. We're happy with the result."

Leon Goretzka: "We just love playing football. We want to develop more, from game to game, and absorb our new coach's philosophy more and more. Leroy Sané: "At the beginning you could see that Bochum were very aggressive, in every tackle. After our first goal, we got going and from then on we started to score our goals. I always try to do my best. At the moment it's going very, very well. I just want to keep going. Today I played well. Of course, there are still a few things I can improve. Except for the first 15 minutes, unfortunately, it wasn't good enough at all."

Manuel Riemann (VfL Bochum goalkeeper): "When you come here and make it so easy for the opponent to score goals, you concede seven. Normally it's maybe two, three or four. We gifted Bayern four goals. They didn't have to do anything. Incredibly tough to take. We were not awake enough in the game."
