FC Bayern presents joint mission statement

A club-wide mission statement for FC Bayern: after many months of hard work and careful analysis during the ‘FC Bayern AHEAD’ strategic process, the German record champions have developed principles for their staff which are designed to provide crucial guidance in the future direction of the club. The mission statement was created together with all employees, members, Bayern fans from all over the world as well as partners and sponsors in numerous rounds of talks, surveys and workshops – from the club, for the club. It describes FC Bayern’s self-concept as well as defining its values and the path that the German record champions want to follow in the future.

Oliver Kahn, CEO: “Our mission statement is based on the history of FC Bayern, which is unique in European football. It also explains the values that we want to stand for as a club, and will provide permanent guidance for the future of our club. The mission statement has been developed over many intensive months together with all staff, fans from all over the world as well as partners and sponsor. It should act as a compass for our staff. We inspire with outstanding experiences – and by sharing our path to success. FC Bayern represents success, which is the basis for everything, on and off the pitch. We represent inspiration, because without joy you cannot have success. And we are always conscious of our social responsibility, which is why commitment is a third central value of our club philosophy.”
