Fans decide the winner
There are 50 players on both the women’s and the men’s shortlist, but there can only be one winner! In the previous 13 years, Goal journalists have voted, but now the decision is exclusively in the hands of the fans. The voting runs via a head-to-head process and the winners will be announced on 17 November.
