In August 2015, Kingsley Coman came to FCB on loan from Juventus.

Coman's strong performances for Bayern were not lost on French national coach Didier Deschamps. The then 19-year-old made his debut for the senior national team in a friendly against Germany on 13 November 13. In the summer of 2016, Coman featured in the European Championship in his own country, where France lost to Portugal in the final.
