FC Bayern travelled to Villarreal on Wednesday evening in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League. The teams played out an exciting match at the Estadio de la Ceramica. In the end, the Spaniards narrowly won 1--0 thanks to an early goal by Arnaut Danjuma (8'). Bayern will have to turn this defeat around in the second leg next Tuesday.
