Sven Ulreich staying at Bayern until 2023

FC Bayern and Sven Ulreich have agreed a contract extension until 2023. The 33-year-old goalkeeper will contest his seventh season with the German record champions. He was contracted to FCB from 2015 to 2020, and after a season at Hamburger SV he returned to Säbener Straße in the summer of 2021.  

Hasan Salihamidžić, Board Member for Sport: "We are delighted that Sven is staying at FC Bayern for another year. He fits perfectly into our group with his character and mentality. Sven has an excellent understanding of his role and is always there when you need him."

The deal is inked! Sven Ulreich has extended his contract.

Sven Ulreich: "FC Bayern has become like a family over all these years. I'm looking forward to another year here. I enjoy the job behind a world goalkeeper like Manuel Neuer, and we have a friendly, collegiate relationship between us."

Ulreich has appeared in 78 competitive games for FC Bayern so far. He has won the Bundesliga six times, the DFB Cup three times, the DFL Supercup five times and the Champions League and European Supercup once each.
