Bound for America! On Monday afternoon, the FC Bayern squad head off on the Audi Summer Tour 2022 to Washington D.C. and Green Bay, finally visiting fans in the USA again. Julian Nagelsmann's side will continue their preparations for the forthcoming 2022/23 season there until next Sunday, 24 July. Two high-quality friendlies against D.C. United and Manchester City, several training sessions, press conferences, events and much more await Bayern, and we'll take you with us on the journey with daily coverage on the website, the official FC Bayern app and our social media channels. Here's what you can look forward to:
Two mouth-watering pre-season friendlies
As part of the Audi Summer Tour, FC Bayern will play Manchester City with ex-FCB coach Pep Guardiola.
We'll be live at the stadium at both pre-season friendlies during the Tour, reporting in real time for all you night owls. On Thursday 21 July, Bayern visit D.C. United in Washington, with kick-off at 01:30 CEST. We're broadcasting the game LIVE (excluding the USA) on the website, in the app, on YouTube and on Facebook. You'll find the reports and photos from the match on our website and app, with more live footage and video snippets on our social media channels.
The second opponents are Manchester City, coached by ex-Bayern boss Pep Guardiola. The Munich men take on the English champions on Sunday 24 July at the legendary Lambeau Field in Green Bay, kicking off at 01:00 CEST.
Several training sessions in the US - two live broadcasts
We'll also be on the ground for all the training sessions in the United States and reporting on all the goings-on via the website, FC Bayern app and social media channels. There'll be one session in the afternoon German time on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Nagelsmann also has further sessions planned late at night German time on Tuesday and Friday, both of which you can follow live on the website, in the app, on YouTube and on Facebook
Live press conferences
On the day before each of the friendlies against D.C. United and Manchester City, there'll be the usual pre-match press conference. And best of all: we're streaming both events live and for free on the website and in the FC Bayern app! We'll also be reporting from the other media rounds
