Bayern wear black armbands in memory of Uwe Seeler

FC Bayern honoured Uwe Seeler by wearing black armbands during their pre-season friendly against Manchester City at Lambeau Field in Green Bay during the 2022 Audi Summer Tour. The former Germany striker passed away at the age of 85 on Thursday. Seeler spent his entire club career at Hamburger SV and played for the Germany national team during the 1960s and 70s alongside Bayern legends Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller and Sepp Maier, finishing runner-up at the 1966 World Cup and third in 1970.
