On Saturday evening it was the turn of two FC Bayern strikers to represent their countries during the international break. Sadio Mané celebrated a 2-0 win with Senegal against Bolivia at the Stade de la Source in Orléans, France. After the opener from Boulaye Dia (4') it was the Bayern star himself who converted a penalty for the second goal on the stroke of half-time. Mané played the full 90 minutes. On Tuesday, Senegal - who have qualified for the World Cup in Qatar - play another friendly against Iran.
It was an equally successful evening for Mathys Tel. The 17-year-old talent enjoyed a 2-0 friendly win over Finland with the French U19 team at the Stadion Senta. Lesley Ugochukwu (11') and Lenny Pirringuel (28') netted the goals for the Équipe Tricolore youngsters. Tel ends the international break with a third match on Monday night against Serbia.
