In Lower Bavaria, Herbert Hainer told about his way to school as a child, in the Upper Palatinate he got to know a bottom-fermented beer called Zoigl, and at the end in Lower Franconia he was consistently addressed as "du" in a friendly way. From Allgäu to Central Franconia to Chiemgau: the FC Bayern president and the German record champions' fan and fan club support team of Raimond Aumann and Markus Meindl have visited around 350 fan club representatives from 175 official fan clubs, representing a total of almost 50,000 registered fan club members, at seven regional fan club meetings throughout the Free State in recent weeks.

The tour of Bavaria was fun for him, Hainer concluded and more than that: "Above all, there were always interesting conversations. We had planned to intensify the dialogue with our fans, and for me as president it is important to know what moves people - I took many insights back to Säbener Straße." Never before has a president of FC Bayern undertaken such a tour of Bavaria; Hainer was able to get a vivid picture of the fact that the German record champions have excellently organised fan clubs in all seven Bavarian administrative districts.
The most frequently discussed topics were club culture and dialogue, especially the positive development with the new formats for exchanging ideas with the members since the annual general meeting a year ago. In addition, the fans asked questions about Qatar and the sporting and financial competitiveness of FC Bayern in international comparison.

They were always factually and professionally oriented meetings, and for the president a good barometer of the mood among the Bayern base. Afterwards, Hainer always took time for photos and conversations in a small circle, and over the weeks it became a ritual for him to treat himself to a currywurst with chips and a small beer each time, while he was still available for further questions. The next reunion is scheduled for 15 October at the latest - this time in Munich, at the FCB annual general meeting in the Audi Dome.
