After the convincing 5-2 victory at FC Augsburg in the second round of the DFB Cup, FC Bayern will travel to 1. FSV Mainz 05 in the round of 16. The draw was made on Sunday evening during Sportschau.
The round will be spread across two weeks, with the first ties taking place on 31 January and 1 February 2023 and the remaining matches being played on 7 and 8 February.
The names were picked out by 27-year-old Maria Asnaimer, who plays as a striker for amateur club TuS Germania Lohauserholz-Daberg and was recognised as "overall top goalscorer" last season. She scored 93 goals in 33 games, as well as eight in the cup.
