FC Bayern and adidas present a special jersey to mark the 50th anniversary of the Munich Olympiastadion. The design of the jersey is inspired by the unmistakable tented roof of the world-famous Munich landmark and incorporates colourful accents from the surroundings of the venue where the German record champions enjoyed so much success from 1972 to 2005 and developed into a top international club.
The club logo and the adidas trademark are embroidered on this special jersey. Another new feature is that all logos are centred on the player's chest. The year 1972 is shown at the back of the neck to commemorate the year the stadium was opened. White shorts and white socks complete the look in honour of the Olympic Rings, with the socks also featuring the year 1972 in off-white. A special highlight is the design of the back number, which depicts the Olympic Park map and is exclusively available with the anniversary jersey.
