A press conference was the last event of the day on which Herbert Hainer was re-elected FC Bayern München eV president for another three years with a large majority (83.3 percent of the votes) at the 2022 Annual General Meeting.
"I'm very happy that our members appreciate the work we've done in the last twelve months, and also the dialogue we have had. We'll continue to build on this and I see it as a confirmation of our work. Overall, the meeting went very well with many constructive contributions," Hainer summarised: "I'm satisfied."
There were indeed many grounds for optimism on Saturday at the Audi Dome. The FC Bayern AG Group as a whole reported a profit at the end of the second full year of the Corona pandemic.
There was also a lively discussion about the club's sponsorship strategy. "We have expanded the dialogue so that we can find out our members' deeply-felt concerns. There will always be topics where we hold different opinions. In these cases, the most important thing is that we decide in the interest of FC Bayern."
