The FC Bayern Esports team will start the new season of the Konami eFootball Championship Pro with their new squad from 13:00 CET on 11 February. After their narrow defeat in the final last year, the team are hoping to challenge again this season.
The central component is the duo of Miguel Mestre and José Sánchez under coach Matthias Luttenberger, who want to build on the strong performances of last season. In addition, Mücahit "Mucahit21" Sevimli will be the third player in the team this season. With third place at the IESF eFootball World Championship in Bali in December, newcomer Mücahit has been impressing on the international stage. Alex Alguacil is leaving the FC Bayern Esports team, which was founded in December 2019, to join Barcelona. "We have celebrated many successes in the last three years. On behalf of the team, we would like to thank Alex for his commitment," said coach Luttenberger. FC Bayern wishes Alex all the best for the future.
