FC Bayern's DFB Cup journey will continue at the Allianz Arena with a home game against SC Freiburg. This was the result of the quarter-final draw on Sunday evening, part of the sportstudio reportage on ZDF by three-time Germany international Jacqueline Meißner from SGS Essen and DFB Vice President Peter Frymuth.
Second meeting in the DFB Cup
The record cup winners advanced to the last eight at the beginning of the month with a commanding 4-0 win at 1. FSV Mainz 05, while their upcoming opponents from Baden-Württemberg won 2-0 at SV Sandhausen. This will be just the second meeting between the two clubs in the competition - Bayern won 7-0 at SCF in March 2005.
The exact times for the quarter-finals will be announced in due course. The ties will be played from Tuesday 4 - Wednesday 5 April, with one game at 18:00 CEST and one at 20:45 CEST each evening. Incidentally, Bayern and Freiburg will meet again in the Bundesliga just a few days later - the Matchday 27 game is scheduled for either 8 or 9 April.
The winners will advance to the semi-final stage on 2-3 May. The final will take place on 3 June at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.

Sadio Mané took part in team training on Sunday and could potentially return for the quarter-final:
