PSG warm up for FCB with win, Mbappé's record-breaking goal

Paris Saint-Germain go into the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie with FC Bayern (Wednesday, 21:00 CET) with wind in their sails after three victories in a row. After the wins against Lille (4-3) and in the Ligue 1 top of the table clash at Olympique Marseille (3-0), coach Christophe Galtier's men also won their home match against FC Nantes on Saturday, warming up for the showdown in Munich with a 4-2 success.

Mbappé's record-breaking goal

PSG took an early 2-0 lead through Lionel Messi and a Jaouen Hadjam own goal, but were pegged back before the break by strikes from Ludovic Blas and Ignatius Ganago. Danilo Pereira restored the home team's advantage in the second half, before Kylian Mbappé rounded off the 4-2 final score in added time. It was the striker's 201st competitive goal for the Paris giants, taking him past previous PSG record holder Edinson Cavani.

Neymar sidelined

Paris were without Neymar (ankle) against Nantes. According to coach Galtier, the attacker will also be absent for the game against Bayern. Defender Achraf Hakimi was also sidelined with muscular problems, but the Moroccan is expected to be fit again by Wednesday. Defender Presnel Kimpembe, who has torn his Achilles tendon, definitely misses the Bayern trip.

PSG line-up versus FC Nantes: Donnarumma - Pereira, Ramos, Marquinhos (Bitshiabu 77) - Mukiele (Soler 71), Vitinha, Zaïre-Emery (Pembélé 86), Fabián Ruiz, Mendes - Mbappé, Messi.

Following an important win at Stuttgart, FC Bayern's focus has turned to the Champions League showdown:
