A very special appointment was on the agenda for Herbert Hainer on Thursday evening. The president of FC Bayern visited fan clubs of the German record champion in his home region of Lower Bavaria. The host was the fan club Bavaria 12 e.V. in Simbach near Landau. A total of eight fan clubs from the region provided a warm welcome and were proud to welcome one of their own as president.
Hainer also received a great honour of signing the 'golden book' of the town of Simbach. Hainer discussed concerns with the fan club members present and was then available for autographs and photos.
"That was a nice evening at the Fanclub Bavaria 12 e.V. Dialogue with our supporters is important to me and we had really interesting discussions, but we also had a lot of fun together," said Hainer. "And then the whole thing being close to my home - that's pretty much as good as it gets. Many thanks to everyone who organised this meeting with a lot of heart and passion."
