There's a lot going on at Säbener Straße! Less than 24 hours after the convincing victory in the Bavarian derby against FC Augsburg, the German record champions welcomed fans to an open training session on Sunday morning.

Lead extended

The mood among the supporters and the team was not dampened by the rainy weather, following a busy week that went entirely to plan with the wins at Stuttgart (2-1) and at home to PSG (2-0) and Augsburg (5-3). As well as booking their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, Bayern have also strengthened their position at the top of the Bundesliga table, extending their lead to two points over closest rivals Borussia Dortmund, who drew 2-2 in the Revierderby against Schalke.

This coming week, the focus for head coach Julian Nagelsmann and his team turns to the away match at Bayer 04 Leverkusen next Sunday (17:30 CET). That's followed by an international break before the business end of the campaign begins on 1 April with the clash against BVB.
