Board of FC Bayern Hilfe eV confirmed
FC Bayern Hilfe eV will continue to be led by Karl Hopfner, Uli Hoeneß and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge as board members. The trio were confirmed for another two years at the ordinary general meeting before the 2-0 win against Hertha Berlin at the Allianz Arena. Hopfner remains chairman, Hoeneß and Rummenigge continue to act as his deputies. The board had also previously decided back in March to appoint Elke Keller as voluntary managing director. Since 2005, FC Bayern Hilfe eV has been supporting people and institutions who are in need through no fault of their own.
Hopfner: "Thanks to the numerous donations from our members, fans and other supporters, FC Bayern Hilfe eV has been able to help an enormous number of people and institutions for almost 20 years now. We will continue to support those in need through no fault of their own. A huge thank goes to all donors - they do a lot of good in our society. FC Bayern Hilfe eV is characterised by the fact that we are able to help in an unbureaucratic, uncomplicated and quick manner. The money goes directly to those who need help.”
Among the causes helped, Hilfe eV has provided aid to the victims of Germany’s worst flood in a century, during Covid-19 and to the earthquake victims in Syria in recent years. It also supports institutions such as the School for the Physically Handicapped.
