FC Bayern is mourning Bodo E. Müller. The legendary Munich pastry chef died on Thursday aged 75. Müller, one of Munich's most colourful characters who ran Bodo's Backstube at Sendlinger Tor and the café tent at the Oktoberfest for many years, was a member of FC Bayern for over 40 years and also a regular visitor at games at the Olympiastadion and the Allianz Arena until his serious illness. "FC Bayern has lost a true fan and a very good friend in Bodo Müller," commented honorary president Uli Hoeneß. "It was always the highlight of carnival time when he treated the staff in our offices with the cakes and doughnuts that he made specially for our club." FC Bayern's thoughts are with his wife Tanja and the family.
