As well as intense training and preparation for the upcoming match against Argentinos Juniors on Friday evening, the FC Bayern World Squad have understandably also used the trip to Argentina to dip into the country's culture and way of life. On Thursday, Roy Makaay's team went on a fascinating excursion to a typical estancia, a traditional Argentine cattle ranch. Here the players had the unique opportunity to learn about the customs of the gauchos, the Argentine cowboys. Under their expert guidance, the young talents could, for example, improve their riding skills and be enchanted by the beauty of the Argentine nature.

Another highlight of the day was the dinner together at the end of the trip. The players enjoyed a traditional Argentine asado, a banquet of various grilled meat. The warmth and hospitality shown to them by the locals caused great enthusiasm among the members of the World Squad.
