FC Bayern have loaned Alexander Nübel to VfB Stuttgart for the coming season. The 26-year-old goalkeeper joined the German record champions from Schalke 04 on a free transfer in 2020 and has been on loan to AS Monaco for the last two seasons. The former Germany U21 keeper made 97 appearances for the French team in Ligue 1 and the Champions League. He has made four appearances in goal for FCB.
Jan-Christian Dreesen, FC Bayern CEO: "Alexander Nübel has gained valuable match practice in the two seasons at AS Monaco. Based on that good experience, we have decided on another loan deal for 12 months. VfB Stuttgart offer Alex the chance to continue to develop through regular appearances.”
