Thursday saw the return of the remaining members of the Bayern first team after their summer break. A large part of the squad completed their medical checks in the morning as they geared up for pre-season. After a number of players had already gone through the examinations earlier in the week, a group of 19 that included Thomas Müller, Joshua Kimmich and Kingsley Coman gathered at the Barmherzige Brüder Hospital in Munich for radiology and cardiology checks. There were also tests for lung function and blood samples taken.
First team training on Saturday
The players will go through their performance diagnostics on Friday. The first team training session is on Saturday before Thomas Tuchel and his squad head to Tegernsee for the first training camp of pre-season.
