FC Bayern loan Gabriel Vidović to Dinamo Zagreb

FC Bayern forward Gabriel Vidović is to go out on loan to Croatian record champions and current title holders Dinamo Zagreb until the summer of 2024. The 19-year-old, who has made six appearances for Croatia at U21 level, arrived in Munich from his hometown of Augsburg in 2016. His contract runs until 30 July 2025.

Director of youth development Jochen Sauer: "Dinamo Zagreb are known for their good academy and also for developing young players at a high level in professional football. We are convinced Gabriel will find ideal conditions there to take the next steps and gain match experience, including in Europe. We are very excited about his further development in Zagreb and will follow it very closely."

Vidović earned his chance to play at senior level with an impressive development at the FC Bayern Campus, where he made 33 competitive appearances for the reserves, scoring 21 goals. He’s also made four appearances for the first team to date. Last season, he gained match practice with Vitesse in the Dutch first division.

On Wednesday, Christoph Freund was officially unveiled as FC Bayern's new sporting director. You can find the key statements here:
