FC Bayern are sending 17-year-old forward Arijon Ibrahimović out on loan for the 2023/24 season to Italian Serie A club Frosinone. Ibrahimović has been at Bayern since 2018 and signed a new professional contract until 2025 back in January.
Jochen Sauer, director of youth development: “Arijon Ibrahimović has the chance to gain match practice at a high level in a top European league. So, we firmly believe that this loan is a very exciting solution for all three parties. We’re excited about Ari’s further sporting and personal development at Frosinone and wish him all the best.”
Ibrahimović joined Bayern from Nürnberg at the age of 13. He’s made 48 appearances for the FCB U17s and U19s, scoring 25 goals. He has played 11 times and scored four goals for the reserves in the Regionalliga, while he has one senior appearance for the first team. After nine goals in 12 caps for Germany’s U17s, Ibrahimović currently plays for the nation’s U18s (eight caps, two goals).
