Argentina

• Second appearance at FC Bayern Youth Cup
• 2022: Third place
• Partner: Government of the Province of Misiones
• Selection process: Eight tournaments in different regions across the province where the partners chose the best players from each event to then compete in a national final with 10 teams.

Germany

• Tenth appearance
• 2022: Fifth place
• Partner: Buntkicktgut (NGO/foundation)
• Selection process: Qualification tournaments in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich where the best players from each event were chosen to then compete in a national final with 10 teams at the FC Bayern Campus.

India

• Seventh appearance, most recent in 2019
• Partner: BigHit (sport app)
• Selection process: Qualification tournaments across the country where the best players from each event were chosen to then compete in a national final with 16 teams over three days.

Mexico

• Second appearance
• 2022: Sixth place
• Partner: Curveball (agency for sports events)
• Selection process: Eight qualification tournaments across the country where the best players from each event were chosen to then compete at a national final with 10 teams.

Nigeria

• Fourth appearance, defending champions
• Partner: VOE Foundation (NGO/foundation)
• Selection process: Qualification tournaments in four cities where the best players from each event were chosen to then compete at a national final with 10 teams.

Rwanda

• First appearance
• Partner: Visit Rwanda
• Selection process: Pre-scouting of individual players from across the country by the partner who chose the best players to then compete at a national final with 10 teams.

South Africa

• First appearance
• Partner: 83 Sports (sports agency)
• Selection process: Invitation tournament with 10 teams from academies and schools in Durban

USA

• Tenth appearance
• 2022: Fourth place
• Partner: None
• Selection process: Pre-selection tournaments as part of the FC Bayern Tournament Tour organised by FCB youth partners Princeton FC and STYSA. The players scouted at those events then took part in a national scouting event hosted by LAFC.
