FC Bayern issues appeal to travelling fans

FC Bayern has been fined by the UEFA Disciplinary Committee. The reason is the use of prohibited fireworks and pyrotechnics and the throwing of objects from the FC Bayern fan block at Champions League matches, in particular at the away match at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen. In the event of a repeat offence, the club may also be penalised with the exclusion of its supporters from a future away match.

The fine amounts to €40,000, and FC Bayern is also banned from purchasing tickets for away fans for its next match in UEFA competitions. However, the latter penalty is suspended for two years from the date of the verdict (until 16 October 2025).

For this reason, FC Bayern is making an urgent appeal to all Bayern fans to refrain from using pyrotechnics in the stadium in future and to desist from any further misconduct, as all travelling (away) Bayern fans would be affected by the consequences. The verdict and the resulting consequences will therefore also be placed on the agenda of the next meeting of the fan dialogue working group and will be discussed in the formal dialogue between FC Bayern and the club's supporters.
