FC Bayern invites you to the big memorial service for Franz Beckenbauer at the Allianz Arena on Friday, 19 January, starting at 15:00 CET. You can now get admission passes HERE - initially exclusively for club members for 24 hours, then for everyone who wants to say goodbye to the Kaiser in this special, emotional setting. Admission to the memorial service is free, but for organisational reasons it is not possible to attend without an admission pass. Initially, two admission passes per person will be issued.
Friends and companions from national and international sport, culture and politics as well as all fans and the entire football family are expected to attend the ceremony. The focus is on the memory of Franz Beckenbauer, who inspired football fans all over the world - far beyond the pitch.
FC Bayern made a conscious decision in favour of a celebration in the Allianz Arena. On the one hand, the stadium would not exist without Beckenbauer's commitment. Secondly, the Kaiser always had a heart for everyone, which is why as many people as possible should be given the opportunity to bid him farewell. Visitors can expect a ceremony with speeches from companions and dignitaries as well as musical contributions from the Bayern family and everyone who Beckenbauer has touched over the decades, as a player, coach, president and unique person.
