Condolence books for Franz Beckenbauer

Dear members, dear fans of FC Bayern Munich,

We are all united in mourning for Franz Beckenbauer. The Kaiser was the greatest personality that German football has ever produced. Without him, FC Bayern would not be what it is today. As a player, coach, president, as a person and unique figure, he laid the foundations for the successes and values of the club. FC Bayern is infinitely indebted to Franz Beckenbauer.

The club would to like to express its thanks for the large outpouring of condolence – we've received countless letters, emails and messages from the Bayern family all around the world.

Everyone now has the opportunity to say goodbye to Franz Beckenbauer in their own way. Therefore, fans from around the world can sign a digital book of condolence HERE until 31 January.

Two physical books of condolence are also available: one in the entrance area at Säbener Straße and one in the Hall of Fame at the FC Bayern Museum in the Allianz Arena.

All entries and parting messages will later be compiled in one collective edition, in order to preserve the supporters' memories of this legend.

Franz Beckenbauer will never be forgotten at FC Bayern.
