Kingsley Coman had to be substituted due to sustaining an injury during FC Bayern’s 3-2 win away at Augsburg. Coman was unable to continue following a challenge with attacker Phillip Tietz during the build-up to Aleksandar Pavlović‘s opening goal. “It’s a knee injury. We’ll have to wait and see as to what the final outcome is. It’s probably a fairly serious injury - it looked a painful one. There was no chance of him staying on the pitch. We’ll check the ligaments and then see where to go from there,” commented coach Thomas Tuchel after the game.
