During the 2023/2024 season, we saw once again the kind of power the Allianz Arena can create.
Those spectators who, for instance, were fortunate enough to experience the atmosphere during the 2-2 draw with Real Madrid know what football is all about.
The performances of the teams on the pitch are one thing, the support coming from the stands is the other.
Together we were, are and will continue to be strong!
“Dear fans, you turn every home game into a wonderful event,” commented board member Andreas Jung during his official farewell ceremony.
Of course, the Arena was once more sold out with 75.000 fans attending the last home game of the season against VfL Wolfsburg, and the atmosphere was fantastic.
To thank the fans for the overwhelming support throughout the season, the entire team walked over to the Allianz Arena's south terrace, sang together with the fans and, accompanied by supporters waving huge flags, went on a lap of honour around the stadium. The unused players Harry Kane, Serge Gnabry and Bouna Sarr joined the team as did several of the Bayern first team players’ kids.
A special connection
It was a beautiful, special moment at the end of the season which exemplified the close connection between the team and the fans.
Everyone at FC Bayern appreciates your loyalty. The star of the south will never set.
