Real Madrid take on FC Bayern in Wednesday evening's Champions League semi-final return leg as freshly-crowned Spanish champions. Carlo Ancelotti's team beat Cádiz 3-0 in Saturday's La Liga home match. Girona later beat Barcelona 4-2, which means Real can no longer be toppled from their perch, being 13 points clear of Girona with four matchdays to go.

Real spared a number of regulars in their dress rehearsal ahead of the match against Bayern. Ancelotti made ten changes to the XI that took on Munich in the first leg. After a goalless first half, Brahim Díaz (51'), Jude Bellingham (68') and Joselu (90+3') sealed a clear-cut victory over Cádiz. Real claimed their 36th championship title a few hours later.
