FC Bayern will once again support its fan club 'QUEERPASS Bayern' at this year's Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Munich with various activities through its initiative 'Red against Racism'.
Like in previous years, mascots Berni and Mia will be among those in attendance, while the Allianz Arena will again be illuminated in the colours of the rainbow from 20:30 CEST to midnight on Saturday and Sunday to send out a strong message against discrimination of any form.
As the Allianz Arena is currently hosting the European Championship in Germany, the world-famous lettering of the Munich stadium has been taken down for the duration of the tournament. The insurance group Allianz, partner of FC Bayern, will install the first three letters in rainbow colours on Munich's Odeonsplatz during this year's CSD from 21 to 24 June, to show solidarity with the LGBTIQ+ community with this clear "ALL" under the motto "All together we win".
Around 500,000 people took to the streets for last year's CSD in Munich. The FCB fan club 'QUEERPASS Bayern' currently contains over 120 members.
