When the floodlights come on for those Champions League nights, and the pitch is illuminated in such a way that gets the adrenaline pumping for players and fans alike, FC Bayern's guiding principle applies more than ever: tradition must triumph! The club is the most successful in German football, not least with their 33 domestic championships, but also internationally with six titles in Europe's elite competition. The retro design of the jersey for this year's Champions League season features the emblem of the 1970 to 1979 seasons directly over the heart. FC Bayern have always presented themselves as Bavarian; proud and self-confident on Europe's biggest stages - and they want to build on the successes of their unique past in the coming season. The adidas Originals logo, which has become an icon of streetwear style in recent decades, is also returning to the pitch.

The new Champions League kit, designed by FC Bayern and adidas in cooperation with Bureau Borsche München, combines red and white, the colours from within the very DNA of the German record champions, with a tonal diamond graphic. The polo collar and the colour of the jersey also allude to the fact that Munich is considered by many to be the northernmost city in Italy; it conveys an attitude to life and a sense of style beyond the pitch. The special Originals logo is reserved exclusively for Europe's top 5 adidas clubs: In addition to FC Bayern, Real Madrid, Juventus, Arsenal FC and Manchester United will be sporting the retro look this season.
This time, there is a matching goalkeeper kit too in black, also embroidered with the retro logos. As with the home and away jerseys, Allianz will once again be represented by the QR code on the sleeve. This badge consists of a combination of the Allianz logo and a QR code, which fans can use to access exclusive promotions on an ongoing basis.
The new kit will be worn for the first time by the FCB women at the friendly match against Juventus on 20 August at Sportpark Unterhaching. For the men's team, it will debut at the first home game in the Allianz Arena against SC Freiburg on 1 September.
The kits are now available in the online store, in the FC Bayern stores and from adidas. As in the previous year, there will also be a Lifestyler shirt - including its own collection in the design of the 2024/25 Champions League kit.
