João Palhinha’s Portugal made it two wins from two in the UEFA Nations League with a 2-1 victory over Scotland in Lisbon on Sunday evening.
Roberto Martinez’s team went behind early on at the Estadio da Luz when Scott McTominay scored after seven minutes. However, the hosts turned things around in the second half as Bruno Fernandes equalised in the 54th minute. Substitute Cristiano Ronaldo then struck the winner with two minutes to go. Palhinha started the game and was subbed off at half-time.
