FC Bayern has modernised the entire colour palette of its brand identity in recent months. The club is therefore already complying with the guidelines of Germany’s new Accessibility Improvement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz), which will come into force in June 2025 and regulates the contrast ratio between text and background colours in accordance with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines in the digital sector. As part of this measure, FC Bayern’s club logo has also been slightly modified for the first time since the last modernisation in 2017.
With the new design of the entire brand presence, FC Bayern will offer everyone an improved user experience. The new designs are now being implemented step by step. As there is a single FC Bayern logo with a uniform corporate identity in all operational areas, the customisation is not exclusively digital. A decisive premise in all of the club’s corresponding measures is always to consider the issue of accessibility in order to make access to FC Bayern as easy as possible for everyone.
