The second half of 2024 once again saw regional fan club meetings, focussing on a direct exchange with FC Bayern’s official fan clubs of FC Bayern. There was the opportunity to talk to 192 fan club chairmen from 86 fan clubs in South Tyrol, northern Germany and Lower Franconia. Together, they represent around 12,500 registered fan club members.
“FC Bayern is a hands-on club with personal contacts. Through our successful dialogue format of regional fan club meetings, we as fan and fan club support remain in personal contact and exchange with the fan club chairmen in all regions in order to hear what topics move people,” said Markus Meindl, director of fan and fan club support.

Each meeting had its own highlights and impressions in this second half of the year. In South Tyrol in Tramin an der Weinstraße in mid-July, there was a noticeable spirit of optimism. Many new ideas were discussed that the fan clubs in the region want to take forward. There was a total of 17 fan clubs with 42 representatives, representing around 3,000 members, present.
The fan club meeting in northern Germany one month later took place at a special location, at Kiel Airport, where a group photo could also be taken in front of the team's plane and with the motto ‘Take off with FC Bayern’. Some 28 fan clubs and 63 representatives took part, representing 2,242 fan club members. Lower Franconia was the venue for the last meeting in this series. At the beginning of October, 41 fan clubs and 87 representatives gathered in Burgsinn, representing a total of around 7,360 members. The meeting was organised by the long-established fan club ‘Burgsinn'80’, which will be celebrating its 45th anniversary next year.
„The direct contact with our fan clubs is invaluable for us and a great opportunity to further strengthen the strong bond with our fans.”

There was a consistently positive atmosphere at all meetings, and the sense of community was always at the forefront. In addition to answering many interesting questions, wishes and impressions were collected and taken back to Säbener Straße. Meindl said: “The direct contact with our fan clubs is invaluable for us and a great opportunity to further strengthen the strong bond with our fans. We are already coordinating and planning numerous regional fan club meetings in 2025 and are looking forward to many personal discussions in the regions.”
