A total of 22 FC Bayern players are currently on loan at various clubs in Europe to gain match practice and further their individual development. In our Loan Watch format, fcbayern.com provides regular updates on how selected loanees are faring with their current teams this season. Hyunju Lee, Matteo Pérez Vinlöf, Maurice Krattenmacher and Benedikt Wimmer have been particularly impressive over the past week.
Hyunju Lee: Second goal in his tenth start
After making his debut for South Korea's senior national team during the international break, Hyunju Lee and his Hannover teammates took on in-form SV Darmstadt 98 on Matchday 13 of Bundesliga 2. In a lively first half, the 21-year-old was one of the most noticeable players on the pitch and tried two long-range shots from a half-left position - one of them fizzed just over the bar, and Lilies keeper Marcel Schuhen saved the other one brilliantly. As we know, good things come in threes, and Lee went on to show his poaching instincts in the second half when he pushed the ball over the line from close range following a corner to level the score at 1-1.
It was Lee's second goal in his tenth start for the side from Lower Saxony. However, it wasn't enough to stop 96 from going down 2-1 to Darmstadt and slipping to fourth place.
Maurice Krattenmacher: Goal secures point in the capital
SSV Ulm and FCB loanee Maurice Krattenmacher picked up a point in the capital last weekend. The 19-year-old midfielder came of the bench in the 51st minute of the match against Hertha BSC and had a go with a long-range effort just eight minutes later. The low shot from 17 metres was so well placed that it beat the keeper and hit the back of the net. The goal cancelled out the Berliners' 2-1 lead and secured an important point for Ulm in the relegation battle. It was also the U20 international's second goal of the current Bundesliga 2 season. Krattenmacher also recorded 17 touches of the ball and successfully completed all of his dribbles.
Matteo Pérez Vinlöf: Sixth straight league win
Matteo Pérez Vinlöf and Austria Vienna celebrated a 1-0 home win on Sunday to extend their unbeaten run in the Austrian Bundesliga to six games in a row. The capital city club once again impressed with a strong defensive performance: the Viennese have kept a clean sheet in four of their last six games, and Pérez Vinlöf has played his part in this. The Sweden U21 player has started every league game so far and achieved an impressive pass completion rate of 89 per cent against Hartberg. The full-back also won seven tackles in his 66 minutes on the pitch.
The Violets' eighth win in the Austrian Bundesliga after 14 matchdays leaves them third in the table behind double winners Sturm Graz and city rivals Rapid Vienna.
Benedikt Wimmer: Away win against fourth-placed club
Benedikt Wimmer and Wuppertaler SV celebrated a 1-0 away win at fourth-placed Sportfreunde Lotte last weekend. Thanks to Semir Saric's goal, Wimmer & Co. enjoyed their third win of the season in the Regionalliga West. The FCB loanee was in head coach Sebastian Tyrala's starting XI for the sixth time in a row and played a key role in the Westphalia side keeping a clean sheet.
The win saw Wuppertaler SV climb to 13th place in the table and gave them a cushion of three points to the danger zone and direct relegation spots.
