FC Bayern München AG achieved the second-best annual result in the club's history in the past financial year and, at €951.5 million, once again achieved record turnover. The group’s total earnings before taxes (EBT) rose by 15 percent to €62.7 million. Net profit for the year increased by 21 percent to €43.1 million. Including FC Bayern Basketball GmbH and FC Bayern München eV, the club achieved a turnover of €1.017 billion for 2023/24.
Jan-Christian Dreesen, FC Bayern München AG CEO: “FC Bayern has always stood for economic solidity paired with maximum success, both on and off the pitch. This has always characterised us. This outstanding annual result shows that we continue to be one of the absolute top clubs in Europe in economic terms. At the same time, however, it should not obscure the fact that we were not satisfied with a season without a trophy in sporting terms. This makes it all the more important that we continue to work on the future of FC Bayern with the utmost commitment and foresight. I would like to thank my fellow board members Michael Diederich and Max Eberl as well as the entire supervisory board under the leadership of Herbert Hainer for their trusting cooperation.”
Michael Diederich, FC Bayern München AG deputy CEO: “With another record turnover of €952 million and the second-best annual result in the club's history, FC Bayern can once again look back on an extremely successful financial year. Our balance sheet, which remains free of bank debt, enabled us to increase dividends by 33 percent. This is primarily due to the highest transfer income in our history and the increased demand in merchandising. Together with record equity capital, this gives us unbroken and exceptional financial strength and independence. FC Bayern therefore remains an exceptional phenomenon in top-level European football, and I believe our club is in a good financial position to master the challenges of the coming years. I would like to expressly thank all my colleagues for their tireless efforts, without which such a result would not be possible.”
