Hyunju Lee & Hannover 96 remain a force at home in Bundesliga 2! The 21-year-old South Korean and his side hosted newly-promoted SSV Ulm last weekend. Despite trailing 2-0 at one point, the club from Lower Saxony secured their seventh home win of the season thanks to a strong second half performance. The victory was initiated by Lee himself: The German record champions' loanee scored his third goal of the season in the 60th minute to make it 1-2 and put head coach Stefan Leitl's team back on course. The attacking midfielder played 77 minutes, recorded a pass completion rate of 88 per cent and set up a total of four attempts. Thanks to the 3-2 home win, the ninety-sixers moved up to third place in Bundesliga 2 and can justifiably continue to harbour hopes of being promoted to the top flight.

Maurice Krattenmacher was also one of the key figures in the match between Hannover 96 and SSV Ulm. The Sparrows led 2-0 at one point, with the 19-year-old impressing with two assists for Semir Telalović's brace. Krattenmacher, who has been on loan at the newly-promoted second-tier club since the start of the season, recorded assists number four and five in his 15th appearance in Bundesliga 2 to add to his two goals for SSV. The attacking midfielder played 79 minutes in the Lower Saxony capital, impressing with a pass completion rate of 79 per cent and successfully completing 67 per cent of his dribbles.

Maximilian Hennig also provided an assist against Hannover, but it was for Unterhaching against the reserves in the third tier. The 2023 U17 World Cup winner came off the bench at the break in the 2-1 home defeat to the side from Lower Saxony and delivered the assist for Julian Kügel to make it 2-1. The left-back has made nine league appearances for the side from the suburbs of Munich so far and recorded two assists. The 18-year-old is currently 19th in the table with Unterhaching, six points adrift of 16th place. This weekend, on Matchday 18, Unterhaching travel to Bielefeld.

A crucial win for Benedikt Wimmer and Wuppertaler SV in the Regionalliga West! WSV gained some breathing space in the relegation battle with a 2-0 win against bottom-placed Türkspor Dortmund. Wimmer played the full 90 minutes for head coach Sebastian Tyrala's side. Alongside his teammates in defence, and despite being a man down, the 19-year-old helped Wuppertaler SV keep a clean sheet and pick up three hugely important points in the fight to avoid the drop.
