Global Academy: Successful first half of the season

As the Global Academy heads into the winter break, we can look back on an eventful and successful first half of the season. While the young talents are now spending some time with their families and recharging their batteries, it's worth taking a look at the highlights of the past few months - both on and off the pitch.

Successful performances on the pitch

The Global Academy laid down a sporting marker in the final quarter of the year. With wins against TSV 1860 Rosenheim U17s (2-1), SC Eglo Schwaz U18s (5-1), FC Ismaning U19s (2-1), 1. FC Köln Global Academy U19s (5-2) and FC Wacker Innsbruck Juniors (8-2), the team showed not only their class but also fighting spirit.

The first half of the season ended with a deserved win against the FC Deisenhofen U17s - a perfect end to a remarkable Hinrunde.

Inspiring insights into the everyday life of a professional footballer

Away from the pitch, there were some special experiences in store for the young talents. They had the opportunity to watch the FC Bayern senior players train at close quarters and get to know their idols in person at a meet-and-greet. These encounters not only provided inspiration, but also valuable insights into the world of professional football and the demands of playing at the highest level.

Another highlight was a visit to the state-of-the-art Skills.Lab at the FC Bayern Campus, where some players were able to measure their performance and compare it with FCB players of the same age. This experience not only sharpened their awareness of their strengths, but also motivated the young players to continue working on themselves.

Team spirit and camraderie as the key to success

The season so far has impressively demonstrated how important team spirit and personal development are for achieving collective success. Workshops promoted individual strengths and the importance of respectful interaction, while joint activities such as a bowling evening or making dinner together strengthened team spirit. This mixture of development and camaraderie created unforgettable moments and a strong foundation for success on and off the pitch.
