FC Bayern is mourning the passing of Josef Hübl, a loyal companion and member of the club’s administrative board for a number of decades. The honorary member has passed away at the age of 83. Hübl had been a member of the administrative advisory board under the chairmanship of Edmund Stoiber until the summer of 2021, before leaving the board at his own request.

Josef Hübl always put the welfare of the club above his own interests. Our sympathy goes out to his family and loved ones. We are at their side in mourning.”
